Who is responsible
Meraviox is operated by an individual based in Malaysia. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@meraviox.com. Meraviox is the publication name.
Reading these pages
The site files contain no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, contact forms, account registration or newsletter signup. They do not set cookies or use browser storage. Fonts and visual assets are included with the site. There are no live affiliate links in this edition.
If you email us
Sending email shares your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments with the recipient and the email services involved in delivery. Only send information needed for your enquiry. You do not need to email us to read the publication.
The purpose of the contact route is to handle reader enquiries, corrections and privacy requests. It is not a newsletter signup or a request for permission to send marketing. Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to our public address to a mailbox monitored by the operator. Routing is separate from storage in the receiving mailbox. Cloudflare records routing activity, and Google’s Gmail service stores the delivered message in the operator’s monitored mailbox. Messages remain there until deleted under the mailbox’s settings or by the operator; no automatic deletion schedule has been verified. Deletion from the mailbox does not mean immediate removal from provider systems or backups. Retention can also depend on security and legal requirements; no fixed deletion deadline is promised.
We use Resend SMTP to send replies from hello@meraviox.com. This involves processing the recipient address and outgoing message through that delivery service. No fixed retention period for its delivery records or message data has been verified for this notice.
Website hosting
Cloudflare provides the domain’s DNS and email routing. The website uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect static pages served by nginx on a VPS. Those services can process technical information such as IP addresses and request details, even when the page itself contains no analytics. The dedicated web server has access and error logging disabled. Hosting service records and provider processing are separate from page analytics. The VPS provider and exact datacenter location have not yet been verified. Malaysia is the operator’s location, not a guarantee of where data is stored or processed. Cloudflare and Google may process information outside Malaysia. Host service records and provider backups can persist independently of the nginx log settings; no universal retention period has been verified. The absence of page analytics does not mean that website delivery processes no personal information.
Your choices and requests
You can email the public contact address to ask about information relating to you or request access, correction or deletion. Any applicable rights, identity checks and legal retention requirements depend on the circumstances and relevant law. We do not promise a response time or an unconditional right to deletion.
External references and updates
External websites and your email service have their own privacy practices. A link does not place those services under Meraviox's control. This notice will be updated when verified hosting or contact practices change; material changes will be identified here.
